Overview
Welcome to RDS2 BUT FROM FUTURE - your ultimate
NSU course planning companion! This tool helps you search
courses, plan your routine, detect conflicts, and share your
plans with friends.
Search & Filter Courses
Main Search: Type course code (e.g.,
"CSE115") or faculty name to find courses.
Time Filter: Filter by class days using
codes:
ST = Sunday + Tuesday
MW = Monday + Wednesday
RA = Thursday (R) + Saturday (A)
Faculty Filter: Search specifically by
faculty name.
Example: Search "CSE115" + Time "ST" to find
all CSE115 sections on Sun-Tue.
Quick Planner (5 Routines)
Plan up to
5 different routines simultaneously! Each
routine has a unique color:
Plan 1 (Red)
Plan 2 (Orange)
Plan 3 (Green)
Plan 4 (Blue)
Plan 5 (Purple)
Switch Routines: Use the dropdown menu to
switch between your 5 plans.
Keyboard Shortcuts: Press
Alt + 1 to Alt + 5 to quickly switch
between routines!
Color Indicators: Small colored dots appear
next to course names showing which routines they're in.
Adding & Removing Courses
To Add: Click the Add button on
any course row. A popup will let you choose which routine(s)
to add it to.
To Remove: In the same popup, click
Remove next to any routine that has the course.
Quick Remove: Click the ? button
directly on a course block in the routine table.
Tip: You can add the same course to multiple
routines to compare different schedules!
Conflict Detection
The system automatically detects two types of conflicts:
⚠️ Time Conflict: Course
overlaps with another class in your current routine.
📅 Exam Clash: Course has final
exam on the same day & slot as another course.
Conflict warnings appear in the routine table when detected.
Share & Import Routines
Share: Click the Share button to
generate a unique code for your current routine. Copy and send
it to friends!
Import: Click Import, paste a
shared code, and click Import. A preview will show what
courses will be imported.
Note: Importing replaces the currently
selected routine. You'll be asked to confirm before changes
are made.
Download as PDF
Click the Download button to export your current
routine as a professional PDF file.
The PDF includes:
Weekly schedule grid
All course details (code, section, faculty)
Timestamp and branding
Semester Selection
Use the semester dropdown above the search bar to switch
between available semesters.
Course data and availability varies by semester.
Course Details
Click the View button on any course to see
detailed information including:
Course code and section
Faculty name
Class timing and days
Available seats
Pro Tips
Use multiple plans to compare different schedule options
before advising.
Share your routine code with friends to coordinate class
schedules.
Pay attention to exam clash warnings - they can save you
during finals!
Download your final routine as PDF to have it handy during
registration.
The routine data is saved locally, so it persists even if
you close the browser.
